This beautiful island of Aphrodite has been our choice for holidays over many years. There is so much to see, do and eat!
We have stayed in all the major tourist areas, such as Ayia Napa, Protaras, Larnaca, Limassol and Paphos.
Our personal favorite is Larnaca.
We highly recommend a holiday to Cyprus...
Our family fell in love with the island of Cyprus on our first holiday here in the 1980s. So much so that we live here now.
We have walked, sunbathed and snoozed on all the Cyprus beaches. Swam in the Mediterranean Sea. Explored most of the Cyprus villages. Visited all the historic sites like Aprohodite’s birth place and Tombs of the Kings in Paphos.
We've taken several trips up to the Troodos Mountains, it’s a must see while your in Cyprus.
During winter, it's amazing to see snow on the mountains and people skiing... Yes, Skiing in Cyprus!
We’ve taken boat trips around the island. Taken a few Mediterranean cruises, including cruises to Egypt – awesome! I highly recommend it. We visited the Pyramids and The Sphinx, which is my favorite, it’s an incredible sight up close.
Have you been on a trip while on holiday in Cyprus?
Or took a cruise from Cyprus to see the Pyramids and the Sphinx? I’d love to hear about it.

You will enjoy the weather in Cyprus. It's sunny and warm most days of the year – the main reason we moved here was the warm climate. You can’t beat waking in the morning to a clear blue sky. It makes you feel so good!
July and August are the hottest. Temperatures during the summer months can reach 40c+. September and October is a pleasant time to visit with temperatures in the 20s. Read more about the Cyprus Weather here.
